PROPERTIES: It is a solution for ear hygiene with keratolytic, antiseptic and soothing properties.
Epi-Otic is a high tolerance cleansing solution, specially developed to prevent and help control external otitis in dogs and cats. The originality of its new formulation is based on the complementary action of its main ingredients, within a composition endowed with reinforced cleaning properties.
The association of salicylic acid with sodium docusate, allows to eliminate cellular debris and excess earwax, and to dry the ear canal. PCMX associated with EDTA contributes to restore the balance of the microbial flora in the ear canal. The exclusive association of monosaccharides provides an anti-irritant effect and reduces the adherence of microorganisms to the skin's surface.
COMPOSITION: Salicylic acid 2 mg; Docusate sodium 5mg; Nonionic surfactant; antiadhesive complex (L-rhamnose, L-galactose and L-mannose), EDTA, PCMX. Soft washing bases.
INDICATIONS: – Dogs and Cats: cleaning and disinfection of the external ear. – Prevention of otitis. – Cleaning prior to the administration of ear treatment.
ADMINISTRATION: Topical.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Discretionary, applying the product in the ear canal.
Always follow your vet's recommendations. Twist the white cap and apply a good amount of Epi-Otic inside the ear canal, gently massage the base of the ear and remove the excess product from the auricle with a cotton ball.
