Supplement based on Carnitine and Taurine developed to nutritionally support heart conditions.
Carnitine is essential in the cardiac muscle cell as it facilitates the entry of long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria. It is therefore essential in the formation of energy (ATP) within the cell.
Its usefulness as nutritional support in congestive heart failure and dilated cardiomyopathies has been demonstrated.

Taurine is an essential non-protein amino acid with antioxidant activity and is used as nutritional support in heart failure and hypertension. Taurine supplementation has been shown to increase survival time in animals with dilated cardiomyopathies.
Taurine is essential for the proper functioning of the cat's heart, brain and eyes. Taurine deficiency in cats can cause blindness, central retinal degeneration, cardiomyopathy, and alterations in the reproduction and growth of kittens.
Taurine can be effective in the treatment of canine nutritional cardiomyopathy (due to Taurine and Carnitine deficiency).
