POSOLOGY
Dogs: One collar per dog.
60 cm long collar for Small and Medium Dogs: Fits necks up to 48 cm.
75 cm long collar for Large and Very Large Dogs: Fits necks up to 65 cm.
Remove the necklace from its packaging and separate the strip comfortably detached. Adjust the collar around the neck of the animal without tightening it too much. Two fingers should fit side by side between the collar and the dog's neck. Slide the end through the buckle and cut the excess length from 5 cm.
- This collar is designed with a safety locking mechanism (anti-strangulation safety).
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
- Apply preferably 1 week before the animals can be exposed to the infestation.
- The effect of the shampoo on the effectiveness of the collar has not been tested.
- Accidental ingestion may cause adverse effects, including neurotoxic effects.
- Avoid prolonged contact with the collar or with the dog wearing the collar. This includes sharing a bed with collared dogs, which is especially important for children. Do not allow children to play with the necklace or put it in their mouths.
- In case of accidental oral exposure or ingestion, seek medical advice and show the package insert or label to the doctor. Immediately remove any debris or clippings from the necklace.
- Wash hands with cold water after putting on the collar.
- Deltamethrin may cause hypersensitivity (allergic) reactions in sensitive individuals. People with a known hypersensitivity to deltamethrin should avoid contact with the veterinary medicinal product and the treated animal. Seek medical advice in case of hypersensitivity reactions.
- Although occasional contact with water does not reduce the effectiveness of the collar, deltamethrin is toxic to fish and other aquatic organisms. Collared dogs should not be allowed to bathe in water courses.
Use during pregnancy or lactation:
- Its use is not recommended during pregnancy.
- It can be used during lactation.
Overdose:
- In case of accidental ingestion of the collar by the dog, symptoms of poisoning (uncoordinated movements, tremor, hypersalivation, vomiting, rigidity of the hindquarters) can be observed, which usually subside within 48 hours. In case of accidental ingestion, contact the veterinarian and do not start a symptomatic treatment; the veterinarian should assess the need for any symptomatic treatment.
CONSERVATION MODE
- It does not require any special storage conditions.
- Keep the bags in the outer packaging.
